Organization
Suresh Malik & Co., (“SMC”) is a medium-sized firm of Chartered Accountants based in Delhi, India. The firm originally came into being in 1979. In 1980 an office was opened in New Delhi with a view to centralizing business clientele. Today, we are facilitating clientele spread across the Globe.
Suresh Malik & Co., Chartered Accountants (“SMC”) operates from national capital Region of Delhi, India. In addition to the Six partners, there are Sixteen staff members excluding seven Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries and Advocates on referral and assignment basis. All the Eight partners have a considerable amount of business management experience. This, we believe, adds a special expertise to our professional skill.
SMC has network Chartered Accountant firm in and around NCR region apart from having network partners (Associates) in other major cities, like Chennai, Bombay, Calcutta, Hyderabad and Chandigarh etc. Network partner helps in operational part of practice and also provide local knowledge and presence.
Our client base is approximately 50 corporate clients and 600 individuals. SMC staff participates actively in the community and serves as lecturers to various organizations. The firm has a large range of clients ranging from individuals through small private to public companies. The primary focus of the firm has always been to provide professional services to all size of business establishments. This probably constitutes in excess of ninety per cent of the firm’s client base.
For more than 28 years, our firm has provided a full range of accounting, audit, income tax, financial and other business advisory services. We have a number of clients and should you require our services, we would be pleased to meet with you and discuss your needs.
Major Activities is recent Past
In recent past we have helped foreign companies to:
- Setup in India 100% Subsidiary of foreign company and 100% Export of Oriented Manufacturing Unit. It has started export of manufactured goods within 6 months of inception of idea.
- Helped setting up system of Accounting and Audit as per USGAAP for Foreign Companies and also periodical reviews.
- Help setting 100% Export Oriented Unit for development of Software and other ITES services under Software Technology Park Scheme of India.
- We are in the process of setting up another 100% Export Oriented Unit under STPI Scheme,which will be a 100% Subsidiary of foreign company to provide services of Software and ITES in Educational Sector.
- We have helped a 10+2 School to re-organise in commercial and other issues and helped setting up accounting and taxation systems.
- Set up in India Non Banking Finance Company
- Also helping setting engineering college.
- Transfer Price Study and Case presentaion before Transfer Price Officer and Appealt Authorities.
- In pipe line,
- Negotiation is on to setup two companies as 100% subsidiary as wel as 100 % EOU.
- Negotiation is on to setup two 10+2 public school in Haryana.

Special Exposure
There was special exposure and we were instrumental in setting up accounting systems as per USGAAP and as well as in Indian GAAP. The process involved was to first setup accounting system as Indian GAAP and then conversion of account book as per USGAAP. This involved training of the manpower of client to enable them to covert book as per US GAAP. Over the period we have also provided annual audit and quarterly review services as per USGAAP of the Books converted/written as per US GAAP also. Above services were provided to Indian subsidiary companies and reports of which were to be incorporated in report of parent company which incidentally were listed public companies abroad. We are working on IAS and IFRS. We have also helped client in preparation of Financials are per International Accounting Standards and also preparation of financial reports as per International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs).
